Elephant in the Room Productions is proud to announce a brand-new production of Bizet's famous opera, this time set and produced right in the historic maritime precinct of Port Adelaide!
Featuring lavish costumes, eye-catching sets, and beautiful singing, these performances promise to be the not-to-be-missed cultural event of the year.
Directed by OAM awarded director Tessa Bremner, and conducted by internationally renowned conductor and composer Gordon Hamilton, this very special event will astound and delight you.
Set in the bustle of late 1920s Port Adelaide, Carmen is the story of a headstrong young woman whose zest for life was unmatched, the man who loved her, and the man who sought to control her.
Part proceeds from every ticket sale will benefit the Zahra Foundation's important work in combating domestic violence.
Performances will be held at 7pm on Friday October the 27th and Saturday October the 28th, and a matinee will be held at 2pm on Sunday the 29th.
