Myth & Music: Midnight Sun

Ancient tales told with the music of the frozen north.

In August 2017 8 stunning singers joined together in the sublime acoustics of Adelaide’s iconic St Peter’s Cathedral and took their audience on a musical journey through the story of the world from the birth of Odin through to Ragnarok: The Twilight of the Gods.

Since then Midnight Sun has performed sold-out shows in Adelaide, and appeared at the national Festival of Voices in Hobart. In 2019/20, Midnight Sun was set to tour Australia but these performances have been suspended due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Midnight Sun was most recently performed to sold-out audiences at the Clipper Ship City of Adelaide in September 2021 as part of the Umbrella Festival.
